The Visa Bulletin provides important information about Immigration. Green card applicants who have been issued ‘priority dates’ upon approval of their petition will use the Visa Bulletin as a guide in proper filing of applications in relation to family-sponsored or employment-based preferences. For employment-based immigration under third preference category, immigrant numbers are available on September 1, 2011 for priority dates November 22, 2005 or earlier for applicants from Mexico and the Philippines; and July 8, 2002 or earlier for applicants from India.
